Our ganiture tapes are manufactured of natural fibre like linen, synthetic fibre like aramid or combined fibre containing both natural and synthetic fibre. Coated or uncoated tapes can be provided according to the exact application or the type of paper to get the most suitable surface friction effect.
Most commonly used garniture tapes are of 2489*21(22)mm for Molins MK8 tobacco machine, 2800*21(22)mm for Molins MK9 tobacco machine, 3100*21mm for Hauni Protos cigarette making machines, and 2715*18.5mm for Hauni KDF filter making machines, et cetera.
Garniture tapes are used to help roll cigarette rods or filter rods. The quality of endless tapes decides how long they can be used, and thus have influence in cigarette or filter making efficiency. Aramid garniture tapes use Kevlar material from DuPont company, which ensures high tensile strength, high temperature tolerance, good wearing resistance.
