Spare Parts Inquiry Guide
How to get the right tobacco machine spare parts — fast, without endless back-and-forth emails.
🔍 No Part Number? Still Send the Inquiry.
Many tobacco machinery spare parts can be identified from photos, dimensions, machine model information, or assembly drawings. Lack of a part number should not prevent you from requesting a quotation.

Why We Ask for This Information
Many tobacco machines have been in operation for 20–40 years. Original spare parts are often discontinued, part numbers may be worn off, and manuals can be incomplete. Different machine revisions may use different versions of the same-looking part.
Providing details upfront helps us:
- Identify the exact spare part
- Verify compatibility with your machine
- Avoid shipping the wrong part
- Deliver a competitive quote — often the same day
The more information you provide, the fewer follow-up emails we need to send.
Detailed Inquiry Checklist
Use this checklist to prepare a complete inquiry. Don't worry if you don't have everything — send what you have.
1. Machine Information
Tell us the manufacturer and model of your machine.
- Manufacturer (Molins, Hauni, GD, Focke, Sasib, etc.)
- Machine model (MK9, PROTOS, KDF, etc.)
- Year of manufacture (if known)
2. Part Number
If a part number is visible on the part or in your manual, please provide:
- Part number
- Description (as listed in your manual)
- Quantity required
3. Photos & Drawings
If the part number is unavailable, photos are the next best thing. At minimum, send:
- Overall view showing the complete part
- Close-up of any markings — numbers, logos, engravings, or labels
- Photo of the part installed on the machine (highly recommended)
If you have an exploded drawing, spare parts manual page, or assembly drawing, even a photo taken with a phone can help us confirm the match.
Good Photos
- ✅ Full part visible
- ✅ Front and side views
- ✅ Ruler or caliper visible
- ✅ Markings readable
- Well lit
Poor Photos
- Blurry or dark
- Only part of the item shown
- No markings visible
- Taken from too far away
- No size reference
4. Key Dimensions
Not all dimensions apply to every part. The most useful ones are:
- Outside Diameter (OD)
- Inside Diameter (ID)
- Length & Width
- Thickness
- Bolt hole spacing (center to center)
Please indicate the unit (mm or inch). If you don't have measuring tools, tell us the approximate size and we will work from the photos.
5. Installation Location & Quantity
Where on the machine is this part used? This helps us confirm the part's function and compatibility.
Examples: Cutter unit, garniture section, glue system, vacuum system, conveyor section, clutch assembly.
Also specify your quantity needs:
- Immediate quantity required
- Annual consumption (if known, helps us plan stock and pricing)
6. Urgency
Please tell us the priority of your requirement. This helps us allocate the right resources:
- Machine stopped / emergency — immediate attention required
- Planned maintenance — scheduled downtime
- Stock replenishment — building inventory buffer
- Future project — feasibility or budget planning
Still Not Sure What to Send?
If you're unsure which part you need or can't find any identifying information:
- Send a photo of the machine nameplate
- Take a photo or short video of the area where the part is installed
- Describe the problem you're trying to solve
Our engineering team regularly identifies parts with surprisingly little information. Don't hesitate to reach out even if you have only a rough idea.
⚙ Obsolete or Unavailable Parts
If the original part is discontinued or no longer available, we can often manufacture a replacement based on an existing sample, photos, dimensions, drawings, or machine information. Our engineering team has extensive experience reverse-engineering parts that are no longer supported by the original manufacturer.
